Social media giant YouTube has unveiled plans for an expanded programme of Creator Collective events that will take place across the entire US in the coming months. The line-up of events will be used to celebrate 20 years of the platform.

Announcing the events via its official blog, YouTube said: “Since 2022, the YouTube Creator Collective has been about more than just meet-ups. We’ve taken it global, connecting creators worldwide to build real community and accelerate their growth. From local gatherings to international events, we’ve seen firsthand how these connections translate to creators expanding their reach, building thriving businesses, and solidifying their place in the evolving creator economy.”

This year, continued YouTube, the programme will consist of events in all 50 states. “Whether you’re just getting started on YouTube, building a community or feeling established and looking to expand your network, we’re coming to you – wherever you call home. What better way to mark YouTube’s 20th anniversary this year?”

YouTube said the events are designed “by creators, for creators”. Throughout the year, it is gathering across the US, including special events like SXSW in Austin, VidCon in Anaheim, and DreamCon in Houston. “Plus, we’re launching a dedicated series for short-form video creators, taking place through the Spring.”
