The deadline for the inaugural TellyCast Digital Video Awards has been extended to January 17, 2025, giving creators and studios an extra month to polish up their entry.
The Digital Video Awards is a ground-breaking new awards programme, which has been launched to recognise excellence, creativity, and innovation in digital-first video production and distribution. Organised by the publishers of TellyCast and The Drop, the awards aim to honour the pioneering creators, brands, agencies, publishers, and producers redefining digital storytelling and transforming the entertainment landscape.
The new event was unveiled at the Digital Content Forum (BFI, London) by Justin Crosby, founder of TellyCast. He said: “We have an exciting line up of events planned for 2025, culminating later in in the year with our 4th Digital Content Forum. We took the decision to extend the Awards deadline because December comes with so many other distractions. By extending the deadline into the new year, we are giving everyone ample opportunity to participate in this exciting new venture.”
The inaugural TellyCast Digital Video Awards will spotlight the incredible work of creators, brands, and production teams pushing the envelope in digital media and pointing the way to the future of entertainment. It is dedicated to celebrating the unique talent and creative innovation driving the digital-first revolution.
The Awards will showcase work across 23 categories, celebrating the diversity and depth of the digital video industry. Judged by a panel of sector leaders, the Awards will acknowledge those breaking new ground in storytelling, engagement, and creative vision on social and digital platforms. The Awards will culminate in a ceremony in London in Q1 2025, where winners will be celebrated in front of an audience of industry leaders, innovators, and digital media professionals.
