TellyCast founder and CEO Justin Crosby has announced that the 2025 edition of the Digital Content Forum will take place on Thursday November 6 at the BFI Southbank. With the event’s attendance growing on average at 20-30% a year, he said that he is aiming to make the fourth edition of the digital-first event the biggest ever.
“TellyCast’s Digital Content Forum has quickly established itself as the key event for anyone interested in understanding the rapidly-expanding world of digital-first content and social video. In the coming months, we will be offering exclusive ticketing deals and sharing details of the panels, presentations, pitching and networking events that make up the Forum. We’re delighted to return to the BFI Southbank and bring together the digital-first community.” The speaker programme for the TellyCast Digital Content Forum will be announced in the coming weeks.
Crosby announced the date at TellyCast’s How to Make Money in Digital , a ground-breaking event that provided around 150 delegates with practical advice on how to build a sustainable digital-first content strategy. A wealth of industry leaders provided insights into the way they had developed their own business models.
Among them were Listen’s Josh Adley and SB Media Group’s Alex Morris, who both explained how their businesses had diversified in pursuit of revenues. For Listen, the journey has seen it pivot from audio podcasts to video podcasts and YouTube series. SB meanwhile has expanded out of social by launching its own website, creating an auction platform and developing a slate of original content.
Spirit Studios’ Matt Campion also emphasised diversification and urged traditional producers to embrace the shift to digital before it is too late. Other highlights included a digital-first session from The Wit’s Caroline Servy and an insight into how to work with digital-first talent from After Party Studios’ Ben Doyle.
Delegates were also invited to participate in The Bridge, TellyCast’s dedicated Buyers Lounge. The Bridge was first launched at the Digital Content Forum and provides a platform for distributors, networks and investors to meet with delegates from leading digital first studios, creators and each other. Buyers included Blue Ant Studios; Little Dot Studios; Banijay Rights; Quintus Studios; and Hearst Networks EMEA.
