Production company Spirit Studios is celebrating the success of its new TikTok channel for wildlife-themed franchise Lion Whisperer TV.
Working with Wild Thring Media, Spirit has seen the new channel generate 230K followers, 85m views, and 4.5m likes in just two months. Spirit co-founder Matt Campion said the rapid rollout of the channel is “proof that when you create content with purpose and truly understand your audience, growth follows”.
Lion Whisperer TV already has a substantial presence on YouTube, where it currently has 3.27m subscribers. The channel is hosted by wildlife expert Kevin Richardson and aims to raise awareness about The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary. The Sanctuary’s mission to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation, education, awareness and funding.
Unveiling the figures, the Spirit Studios team said: “Launching Lion Whisperer TV on TikTok is proof that when you show up where your audience is and give them what they want how they want it, amazing things happen.”
Lion Whisperer TV is a finalist in the Wildlife Channel category of the first-ever TellyCast Digital Video Awards.
