OTTera, the OTT and FAST channel solutions provider, has partnered with Blue Pictures, a global film distribution and production company, to launch AVAZ, a new FAST channel dedicated to premium Nollywood content.
Spearheaded by film distributor Joy Efe Odiete (pictured), AVAZ aims to become a go-to destination for African storytelling, showcasing top Nollywood films and TV series to audiences worldwide. AVAZ is currently available on Hisense TV VIDAA Channels and VIDAA TV in South Africa and AfrolandTV, with upcoming launches planned across Connected TV (CTV) platforms in South Africa.

The launch of AVAZ marks a milestone as it is the first FAST channel to launch in the creative space in Nigeria, further enhancing the growth of Nollywood content in the FAST space.
