Digital first talent agency MonRae Management has signed Brighton-based female gamer bekyamon to its roster. She joins a line-up that includes DanTDM, Yammy, TommyInnit, Bola Sol and Jenny Mustard.
Bekyamon (real name Becky) is a Minecraft creator whose witty commentary style and story-driven streams have attracted a dedicated following on both Twitch and YouTube. At time of writing, she has around 102k followers on Twitch and just over 10k on YouTube.
Profiled by Twitch as a woman to watch earlier this year, Becky speaks regularly on industry panels such as TwitchCon & MegaCon. She has also featured in campaigns for Nintendo, Heelys and Lenovo, and is a regular collaborator with the likes of TommyInnit and Tubbo.
Bronagh Monahan, co-founder of MonRae Management, said: “We are delighted to welcome the hugely talented bekyamon to the family. Her unique, engaging style has already won her legions of fans and her passion for improving female representation online closely aligns with MonRae’s.”
MonRae’s co-founder Elspeth Rae added: ‘Vast opportunity exists within and beyond gaming for a talent of Becky’s size. We are looking forward to embarking on this journey with her to build a long-lasting career.’
MonRae is a talent management and production company founded in 2021 by Rae and Monahan. In Summer 2021, the company launched MonRae Productions with the ambition of bringing the worlds of digital and traditional TV media closer together.
