British YouTuber, comedian, and internet sensation Max Fosh has been confirmed as the host of the TellyCast Digital Video Awards 2025, taking place at The Londoner Hotel on Thursday 5 June.
With over 5 million followers across social media and more than 1.5 billion video views, Max has built a global fanbase through his signature blend of humour, cheeky social experiments, and viral pranks. His most famous stunts include running for London mayor as an independent candidate in 2021, putting up a “Welcome to Luton” sign at Gatwick Airport, and creatively pushing the boundaries of comedy content online.
Max’s appointment as host follows a hugely successful 2025 world tour of his stand-up show Loophole, where he performed 72 shows in 13 countries, selling over 45,000 tickets. Known for finding “the silliness in life,” he brings an irreverent, entertaining energy to the stage – perfect for celebrating the fast-evolving digital video landscape.
Commenting on his new role, Max said: “I’m genuinely thrilled to be hosting the TellyCast Digital Video Awards. Social video launched my career and is my passion – so to help celebrate the people pushing the boundaries of entertainment and creating brilliant stuff online feels like a full-circle moment.”
The TellyCast Digital Video Awards was launched to celebrate excellence in digital-first video, spotlighting creators, producers, and brands who are redefining the content ecosystem across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat.
TellyCast founder Justin Crosby said: “Max is one of the UK’s most original and successful digital creators – and someone who truly represents the playful, smart, and ambitious spirit of the social video generation. We can’t wait to see what he brings to the biggest night in the digital video calendar.”
This year’s awards spotlight a bumper field of outstanding nominees, with After Party Studios, Wall of Entertainment and The Connected Set among the studios leading the nominations. Major players such as 4Studio, BBC Studios, ITV Studios, Paramount and Hearst Networks are also in contention, underlining the growing influence of digital-first content across the traditional broadcast landscape. The night’s most eagerly awaited categories include Studio of the Year, Social Video Channel of the Year (Broadcaster), and Social Video Channel of the Year (Independent Studio) – reflecting the creative and commercial impact of digital video in 2025.
Entries have been judged by a panel of leading industry experts from across the digital video, broadcast, agency, and brand worlds.
