Legendary comedy duo Matt Lucas and David Walliams, creators of Little Britain, are reuniting for a new podcast called Making A Scene. Launching on February 4, the heavily teased project will be dropped twice a week on digital platforms.
The podcast has been produced with Folding Pocket, the podcast label of next-gen media company Platform Media. During each episode, Lucas and Walliams will interview comedian chums such as Stephen Merchant, Jack Whitehall, Rob Brydon, Alan Carr, Andrew Mensah and Richard E. Grant.
Announcing the podcast in a short quirky video on social media, the duo joked about their history of being cancelled on social media, with Lucas observing that he has only been cancelled once whereas Walliams has been cancelled twice. Walliams retorts that being cancelled twice actually means you have been uncancelled.
The comics explained that they would be interviewing their friends and “turning their lives into cinematic masterpieces”. Alongside career anecdotes, the show will explore key scenes from the lives of Lucas and Walliams’ guests.
