TellyCast, the leading international TV industry podcast and events business, has announced the first speakers and panels for the TellyCast Digital Content Forum 2024, Europe’s only industry event dedicated to the digital-first content sector.
Returning to BFI Southbank in London on 7th November 2024, the Digital Content Forum has established itself as a unique environment where creators, studios, producers, brands, media agencies, platforms, channels and the wider content industry can pitch, network, and learn with leaders in the fast-developing world of digital-first content.
The first wave of speakers confirmed includes:
Dan Biddle – Head of Facebook Partnerships, Meta
Caroline Servy – MD, The Wit
Jackie Adedeji – broadcaster and podcaster
Sam Barcroft – Creatorville
Lucy Luke – Head of UK Partnerships, Snap
Digital creator Brandon Baum
Bryony Hopkins – Head of Production, Strong Watch Studios
Gerrit Kemming – Managing Director, Quintus Studios
New for 2024’s event is The Bridge – a networking lounge where delegates can book meetings and pitch their projects directly to the UK’s leading digital content commissioners and buyers including A+E, UKTV, ITV Studios, Blue Ant Media, Quintus Studios, Abacus Rights, Eccho Rights and Little Dot Studios.
Eleven panel, keynote and masterclass sessions during the day will focus on areas including creator economics and content monetisation; original IP and formats; brand funded digital content; and smart multi platform production techniques. The event will also feature exclusive digital-first sector research and a presentation of digital-first formats from around the world by The Wit’s Caroline Servy.
Delegates will also have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to network with creators, studios, networks, platforms, brands, media agencies and media across four networking sessions. Event partners include 4Studio, Connect Management, Deadline, The Drop, Quintus Studios, Tanooki, and Boom! PR.
“Our third edition is set to be the best yet,” said TellyCast Media and Events’ Justin Crosby. “As the traditional TV and digital first industries continue to overlap with brand funding and social platform developments, the interest in the next generation of social-first entertainment production continues to rise. In an industry first, our new digital buyers lounge The Bridge will also offer delegates the opportunity to pitch to digital buyers as well as network with industry leaders and learn from trail blazers”
New speakers, panels and sponsors are being confirmed every week and will be covered in The Drop. Super Early Bird tickets are now on sale and for a limited period a Studio package is available, offering 5 tickets for the price of 4 at the cheapest rate.
