Final agenda unveiled for TellyCast Digital Content Forum 2024

The official schedule for the 2024 TellyCast Digital Content Forum (Thursday November 7th) has been revealed. Around 300 delegates are expected to attend the BFI-based event, where an action-packed line-up will include keynotes, networking sessions, exclusive research and panels involving top executives and talent. Not to be missed either is the return of popular content showcase The Drop.

“We’re delighted to have finalised the schedule for the third edition of The Digital Content Forum, which is bigger and better than ever,” said TellyCast Media and Events’ Justin Crosby: “All told there will be more than 30 speakers from major social platforms, UK broadcasters and leading digital first production companies – while the delegate list is just as impressive. With sessions digging deep into topics such as creator economics and content monetisation; original IP and formats; brand funded digital content; and smart multi-platform production techniques, the Digital Content Forum will have something for everyone involved in this business.”

After the opening remarks, the day kicks off with a Digital Docs panel (09.20), sponsored by Quintus Studios. There are then research-based panels from Ampere Analysis and The Wit (09.50-1025). Ahead of the first networking break, sponsored by After Party Studios, there will be a keynote from social media giant Meta (10.25).

The morning continues with TikTok, Snapchat and Twitch in conversation (11.10) before a masterclass entitled Making The Budgets Bang (11.40). Ahead of lunch is an intriguing session called Outsmarting Commissioning Hell (12.00), and a fireside chat with ITV (12.15), which recently announced a major move into digital first.

Refreshed and ready to go, delegates will then be invited to explore subjects such as Podcasts as TV (13.35), Sweating The Small Stuff (14.05) and the relationship between YouTube and TV (14.35, Friend, Frenemy or Foe? Sponsored by 4Studio).

After another break, the day continues with a session on Branded Content (15.25) and content showcase The Drop (15.55). “This year, The Drop moves earlier in the day,” said Crosby, “so delegates won’t miss out on this fantastic talent showcase, where we see some of the great new digital first formats and shows coming through.”
