Digital-first content studio Dose of Society is partnering UN Refugee Agency the UNHCR to amplify refugee voices through compelling digital storytelling.

According to DoS, the collaboration “harnesses Dose of Society’s expertise in street-style interviews and social media engagement to humanise the refugee experience, sharing powerful personal stories across its social platforms. By leveraging authentic, grassroots storytelling, this partnership aims to foster greater empathy and awareness around displacement, inspiring audiences to take action.”

In previous collaborations between the two, Dose of Society has filmed in refugee camps across Lebanon, Jordan, and Kenya, capturing first hand stories of resilience and hope. The organisation has also worked with Theo James, a UNHCR Ambassador, amplifying a message of solidarity and support for displaced communities. Through these efforts, Dose of Society estimates that it has already achieved over 15 million views across its videos, showcasing the power of digital storytelling in driving global awareness and engagement.

Through joint content creation and strategic social media promotion, the goal of the partnership is not just to highlight refugee resilience, but also mobilise support for UNHCR’s work. Dose of Society co-founder and CEO Ahmed Faid (pictured) said: “From refugee students in Kenya to refugee climate advocates, refugee Olympians, and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassadors, this initiative showcases inspiring individuals, highlighting their resilience, achievements, and contributions to society. As part of this initiative, Dose of Society collects and produces short-form videos aligned with UNHCR’s key campaigns, such as World Refugee Day and the Global Ramadan Campaign.”
