Media entrepreneur Piers Morgan has told Semafor Media podcast Mixed Signals that he has ambitions to expand his Uncensored brand into a range of genres.
During a wide-ranging interview, he said he views Uncensored as “a proper brand. I see Uncensored as being potentially a really big entity where I will have other people under me who will be also uncensored. I’m also going to expand the genres. So I want to get into Crime Uncensored, History Uncensored, Sport Uncensored, and start to build it out like that.”
Morgan told Mixed Signals that pundits like himself, Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson, are “beginning to realise you can carry as much weight these days as a network. I think people have suddenly woken up to the reality that the traditional legacy media valuation of stuff actually is for the birds, and that the sky is the limit.”
Commenting on the role of his current YouTube channel, Morgan said he viewed it as “a mothership” which spawns a range of products across different media platforms. He cited the way The Daily Wire has grown and diversified its business.
Morgan said his current business is already profitable and that there are “significant players” willing to support his expansion plans. At time of writing, the Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube Channel has 3.8 million subscribers.
