A brand-new four-part interview series, Now You Know, hosted by Julie Adenuga, is set to premiere on 5 and YouTube on April 1. During the series, Adenuga sits down with an all-star lineup—including Maya Jama, KSI, Big Zuu, and Mahalia—for candid, conversations that bring a fresh twist to the traditional interview format.

During the series, Adenuga takes viewers on an unfiltered journey, offering a unique look at the preparation and vulnerability behind her work. Each episode follows her as she delves into extensive research with the help of her team and those who know her guests best. Once the groundwork is laid, she steps into the interview.

A creative entrepreneur and influential voice in music and culture, Adenuga, said: “I’m excited to be able to put my own twist on interviewing with this show. It’s something I’ve been doing for over a decade but thanks to GroupM Motion Entertainment and BET UK I’ve been given the opportunity to not just host it, but also executive produce the show with Pangaea and bring my vision of giving audiences a peek behind the curtain of what goes into a great conversation. I’m looking forward to people seeing my guests in a new way and seeing me stress about being good at my job.”

Cicelia Deane, editorial and commissioning executive, BET UK/Paramount, added “Working with Julie Adenuga as lead onscreen talent for BET UK has been a longstanding dream of mine. She embodies charisma, wit, and intelligence, and is seamlessly connected to the pulse of Black British culture and creativity. Now You Know is the perfect format to tap into her personal connections and unique ability to share intimate, authentic conversations that resonate with audiences.”

Now You Know is a co-production between Pangaea Group and GroupM Motion Entertainment for BET, and is directed by Luke Hyams and produced by Sunita Mirchandani Hyams. Executive producers for BET UK are Cicelia Deane and Shurwin Beckford, with Melanie Darlaston for GroupM Motion Entertainment. Episodes air weekly from 1st April available on both 5 and YouTube.

The KSI episode takes place on April 8, second in the run. From his rise as a YouTube pioneer to building a multi-million-pound business empire, KSI opens up about the work ethic and sacrifices that have shaped his career. Adenuga and KSI delve into the importance of knowing when to rest, the toll of maintaining success, and how he envisions his legacy through the eyes of his future children.
