YouTube creator Nexpo has dropped a new podcast, in partnership with Ballen Studios. Called ‘Late Nights with Nexpo’, the weekly podcast will feature “the most bizarre and chilling true stories and mysteries to be found”.
Ballen Studios, which specialises in true crime and mystery podcasts, launched a management company in 2023. Nexpo (aka Ryan Cantu) was one of its first signings.
Unveiling the new project, Ballen Studios said: “One of our first signings was Nexpo – an absolute giant in immersive storytelling and a master of sophisticated, suspenseful editing. Every single week, he will bring a take on mysteries you can’t find anywhere else. If you crave strange, dark & mysterious storytelling with a hypnotic visual style, then let Nexpo’s atmospheric voice take you down the internet’s darkest rabbit holes.”
The first episode of the podcast is called Siberia’s Strangest Unsolved Mystery and focuses on the experience of seven hikers in the Khamar-Daban mountain range during 1993. It can be accessed on a range of podcast platforms, including Nexpo’s own YouTube channel, which has 3.6m subscribers. Less than a day after dropping, the new ep had been viewed around 370,000 times on Nexpo’s channel.
Introducing the new project, Nexpo said: “I’m so excited to show you something I have been working on for months. Think of these as being like campfire stories.”
