Connected TV specialist Future Today has joined forces with YouTube creator Gemma Stafford to launch what it claims is “the world’s first dedicated 24/7 baking FAST channel”. Entitled the Bold Baking Network, the collaboration will bring “thousands of shows and more than 1,000 hours of content to streaming audiences, delivering educational and entertaining baking content to home bakers globally.”
The partnership is an intriguing example of how YouTube creators are now looking at connected TV and FAST channels as a new opportunity to build their businesses. To date, the momentum in FAST has largely been driven by traditional media brands.
Stafford has already established a huge profile with her own Bigger Bolder Baking channel, which has 2.8m subscribers on YouTube. Future Today already runs a portfolio of FAST channels called Fawesome, HappyKids and iFood.tv.
