Banijay’s Mission Unknown: Atlantic to Set Sail on YouTube and Prime Video Germany

Banijay Productions Germany’s latest adventure reality format, Mission Unknown: Atlantic, is set to premiere on Prime Video Germany with a two-episode debut on February 28.

The series will expand its reach beyond the streaming service, arriving two weeks later on social media star Jens “Knossi” Knossalla’s YouTube channel. Prime Video has previously entered into a similar agreement for 7 vs Wild, demonstrating its commitment to hybrid distribution strategies that blend streaming with creator-led digital ecosystems.

7 vs Wild, a survival reality show featuring prominent online personalities, gained massive traction through its dual-platform release strategy, proving the effectiveness of leveraging both premium streaming services and the organic engagement of YouTube audiences. By tapping into Knossi’s established fanbase, the series is poised to generate significant buzz across multiple platforms.

The show follows Knossi and a cast of well-known German influencers and social media personalities, including Joey Kelly, Sophia Thiel, Marc Eggers, Affe auf Bike, Willi Whey, Jodie Calussi, Sophia Chiara, TC, and Clemens Brock. Together, they embark on a high-stakes sailing adventure across the Atlantic, disconnecting from their online lives to tackle the extreme challenges of life at sea. Split into competing teams, the participants must battle the elements, test their endurance, and race against each other to reach the finish line first.
