As this year’s edition of the TellyCast Digital Content Forum (November 7th, BFI Southbank) approaches, a reminder to delegates of one of the event’s new innovations, The Bridge – a dedicated Buyers Lounge.
The Bridge is a ground-breaking initiative that will provide a platform for distributors, networks and investors to meet with delegates from leading digital first studios, creators and each other. Confirmed participants from the buyer side include leading firms such as ITV Studios, BBC Studios, MTV, Night Train Digital, Sphere Abacus, Quintus Studios, Blue Ant Media, A+E Networks UK and Little Dot Studios.
On the day, Digital Content Forum delegates will be able to connect with content buyers and creators, pitch digital series or formats, forge partnerships, and explore new opportunities. To set up a meeting, simply reach out in advance to the buyers involved. The location of The Bridge is above the Riverfront café at the BFI. Registered delegates have already recieved their Buyers Guide for the event and new delegates will do so upon registration.
TellyCast founder Justin Crosby said the idea for The Bridge grew out of digital-first deal-making at previous editions of the TellyCast Digital Content Forum. “Three digital-first shows have been commissioned or invested in following their appearance in our content pitch showcase ‘The Drop’. And over the last year we have seen an acceleration in the number of content-based partnership involving ‘traditional’ and digital first media companies. This convinces me that there is a host of opportunities for networks, distributors, and content creators to collaborate on opportunities.”
The full line up of TellyCast Digital Content Forum speakers, panels and sponsors has now been confirmed. See details here or in previous stories on The Drop.
