After Party and Channel 4.0 partner for the first time on Hear Me Out

Channel 4.0 has greenlit a new six-episode comedy debate series called Hear Me Out. Produced by After Party Studios, the show sees YouTuber Specs Gonzalez and guests including Nella Rose (I’m A Celebrity) and Whitney Adebayo (Love Island) share their boldest opinions with a line-up of tough antagonists.

The aim of the show is for the stars to persuade the panel of judges to acknowledge their controversial opinions. But these judges are no pushovers. They could be a collective of hormonal teens, sex-positive baddies, gym bros, geniuses, Aunties or Uncles (a common term of endearment for elder women and men from Afro-Caribbean background.) Whoever or whatever the group, only the most cunning and persuasive of talent will come out of their debates moderately victorious.

Aside from Nella Rose (pictured) and Whitney Adebayo, other talent lined up for a grilling include Adeola Patronne, Benzo, Callux, Danny Aarons, Darkest Man, Expressions and PK Humble. Commenting on the series, Evie Buckley, digital commissioning editor & Channel 4.0 lead, said: “For our first partnership, Channel 4.0 and After Party Studios are going big and bold as we watch our 4.0 stars do their best to argue some of their most obscure hot takes – from their biggest icks to questionable hygiene routines.”

Jamie MacDonald, head of originals at After Party Studios, added: “With Specs at the helm and some of the internet’s most brilliant and unruly talent, Hear Me Out promises to be riotous, laugh-packed and at times, awkward af. We are unbelievably excited to be working with industry-leading Channel 4.0 for the first time.”

Hear Me Out is the latest in a line of digital first commissions from Channel 4.0 which includes Tapped Out and Worst In Class. The 6 x 15 minute series was developed by After Party Studios and is scheduled to drop in December this year.
