Social media marketing, talent, and technology company Viral Nation has announced a new partnership with Canadian TV production company Buck Productions to develop original programming featuring Viral Nation’s social media talent.
The programming in development includes reality shows, docuseries, and lifestyle content featuring the lives of social media stars. The agreement represents Viral Nation’s company’s first venture into original unscripted TV programming.
One of the first projects to be announced is a dance-themed series centered around Basement Gang, a trio consisting of Kadeem Hemmings, Nicholas McDonald, and Nathaniel James. The dance-themed series aims to engage co-viewing audiences and capture Basement Gang’s passion for dance. The trio have build a following of over 6 million across various social media platforms, particularly in Canada.
Another project will feature Larry “Bone Collector” Williams, a renowned streetball basketball player and former Harlem Globetrotters player. Williams has been recognized as one of Complex Magazine’s 25 Greatest Streetball Players of All Time and has established relationships with legendary players like Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant. Today, he serves as a personal trainer for NBA, collegiate, and high school players across the United States.
