Leading social agency Goat is hosting a webinar later this month which will attempt to answer one of the hot topics in digital first media right now – what’s the difference between Chinese phenomenon TikTok and its rival YouTube Shorts?
Aimed primarily at brands, but no doubt of interest to short form creators in the branded content business, the event takes place on Thursday April 27th at 1500 BST. Anyone interested can sign up to watch the event live or view it on-demand at a later date.
Goat social media experts Ajalin Zenon, Hannah Pether and Jago Sherman will argue the pros and cons of the two platforms. They will address issues such as: What are the differences? Where should you invest? How do you plan a successful campaign?
Goat is a global social media and influencer marketing agency, with around 200 employees across the world. Launched in 2015. It has helped grow brands including Dell, Beiersdorf, Meta, Tesco, Uber, EA, Natura and Augustinus Bader.
Last month Goat was acquired by agency network WPP. Under the deal it is joining GroupM and merging with influencer marketing solution INCA to create what WPP calls “the industry’s first truly global influencer marketing agency.”
Commenting on that deal, Christian Juhl, global CEO, GroupM, said: “Influencer marketing is an exciting growth area for our business and one in which our clients are looking for globally scaled and outcomes-driven capabilities. The addition of Goat to GroupM as part of GroupM Nexus gives us the ability to deliver accountable, cross-channel and data-driven influencer solutions for clients anywhere in the world.”
