With just 10 days to go until the third edition of the TellyCast Digital Content Forum, there are still a few tickets left for anyone who wants to take part in the UK’s leading digital first event. An action-packed schedule will include keynotes, networking sessions, exclusive research and panels involving top executives and talent.
“The Digital Content Forum line up of speakers reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of the digital content business,” said TellyCast Media and Events’ Justin Crosby: “All of the major platforms and UK broadcasters will be present, and there is also rich representation from digital first production companies and the creator community. With panels covering hot topics such as creator economics and content monetisation; original IP and formats; brand funded digital content; and smart multi-platform production techniques, there will be something for everyone involved in this business.”
After the opening remarks, the day kicks off with a Digital Docs panel (0920), sponsored by Quintus Studios. There are then research-based panels from Ampere Analysis and The Wit. Ahead of the first networking break, sponsored by After Party Studios, there will be a keynote from social media giant Meta (1025).
The morning continues with TikTok, Snapchat and Twitch in conversation (1110) before a masterclass entitled Making The Budgets Bang. Ahead of lunch is a fireside chat with ITV (1215), which recently announced a major move into digital first.
Refreshed and ready to go, delegates will then be invited to explore subjects such as podcasts as TV and the relationship between YouTube and TV (1435, Friend, Frenemy or Foe? Sponsored by 4Studio). After another break, the day continues with a session on Branded Content (1525) and content showcase The Drop.
Another key feature of the Forum is The Bridge – a dedicated Buyers Lounge. A ground-breaking initiative, The Bridge will provide a platform for distributors, networks and investors to meet with delegates from leading digital first studios, creators and each other. Participants in the first-ever Bridge include ITV Studios, BBC Studios, MTV, Night Train Digital, Sphere Abacus, Quintus Studios, Blue Ant Media, A+E Networks UK and Little Dot Studios.
Justin Crosby said: “Through events like the Digital Content Forum and The Bridge, I’m committed to helping stimulate growth for digital-first studios and content creators. Networking opportunities like this are becoming increasingly vital as the worlds of digital content and traditional TV continue to merge and evolve.”
